Here at Martin Kaye we are proud of our management and service standards for which we have received various accreditations and awards the following of which are some examples.

 

Lexcel

Martin Kaye were one of the first firms to be awarded Lexcel which is the Law Society's International Practice Management Standard or "quality badge". It certifies that certain standards have been met following external independent assessment. The Lexcel Practice Management Standard is annually awarded to firms which meet the highest management and customer care standards. Martin Kaye have maintained Lexcel accreditation since January 2005 following rigorous and regular external audits.

Investors In People

Martin Kaye achieved Investors In People accreditation (IIP) in January 2005 and have maintained this ever since. IIP is recognised nationally as an accreditation which demonstrates that employees are assured their employer cares about them and about improving their performance. This is achieved by setting and realising common objectives through encouragement and planned development. Martin Kaye have always been a keen supporter of this.

Legal 500

The Legal 500 is a national independent Directory. It is compiled annually through extensive research of the legal profession and lists those firms which it recognises as leaders in specialised areas. Martin Kaye are proud to have all of its commercial division i.e. commercial corporate, litigation / dispute resolution, commercial property and employment recognised by the directory. In addition the firm's personal injury and family and divorce department are also recognised and ranked by Legal 500.

Conveyancing Quality

Martin Kaye were awarded this quality badge in January 2012 since when it has been maintained. The scheme provides a recognised quality standard for those legal practices which conduct residential conveyancing. Achieving membership requires integrity of the key conveyancing staff, the firm's adherence to good practice management standards and adherence to efficient conveyancing protocol. Our conveyancing team are proud to have achieved this quality recognition which endorses the department's credibility with their regulators, lenders, insurers and intermediaries with whom they deal.

Law Society Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme

Alison Carter is an accredited member of this scheme which admits only lawyers who have demonstrated the demanding level of experience in dealing with personal injury cases. Lawyers who are members must also maintain those high standards of legal service provision in order to maintain membership.

APIL

Our head of personal injury Alison Carter is a member the Law Society's Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme. The accreditation is a recognition of a lawyer's excellence in this specialist area and the department's adherence to service and management standards. Alison is one of the few specialists in the area with this accreditation.

Professional Negligence Lawyers Association

Graham Davies is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association. The PNLA is an association of specialist lawyers who handle claims involving professionals and which encourages the exchange of news and information amongst its members.

Property Litigation Association

Andrew Oranjuik is a member of the Property Litigation Association whose members specialise in all aspects of property litigation including commercial and residential. They also exchange information and case reviews in order to keep up to date in this ever changing area of law.

 

 

Law Society Children Panel

Nadia Davis our Head of Family Law is an accredited member of the Law Society Children Panel. Those who hold this accreditation have demonstrated they have and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practise in the area of children law and that they will adhere to the scheme's Code of Practice.

Resolutions

Nadia is also a member of Resolution whose members are committed to the constructive resolution of family disputes. All members follow a Code of Practice that promotes a non confrontational approach to family problems and encourages solutions that consider the needs of the whole family and in particular the best of interests of children.

Acquisition International UK Small Business Firm of the Year 2012

National Judges said that winning the award was an indication Martin Kaye were "Best in Class" at innovation, differentiation and first class service together with strength amid the ongoing economic uncertainty.

Most Loved Business in Town 2013

This year Martin Kaye Solicitors were voted the Most Loved Solicitors and Best Loved Business in Telford in the Best of Telford "14 days of Love" consumer pole. For the 14 days leading up to Valentine's Day, consumers had the chance to review their favourite local businesses raising the profile of their local community. Martin Kaye Solicitors received the most votes in their region.

Also in the above poll Martin Kaye were voted the second Most Loved Solicitor in the whole of the UK by virtue of the high number of glowing testimonials received.

Commercial Litigators of the Year - Midlands Area

Martin Kaye won the Commercial Litigators of the Year - Midlands Area award at the 2013 Acquisition International Legal Awards.

In recent years we have also won Shropshire Business Award for Technology (2005), Shropshire Star Company of the year (2006), Shropshire Business Award for Innovation (2008) and 4th Most Loved Solicitor in the UK (2012)
