Ahsan joined Martin-Kaye in 2002. He qualified as a solicitor 2005. He is a member of the commercial litigation team dealing with dispute resolution. He has gained considerable experience in a wide range of commercial disputes involving contract, property, insolvency, contentious probate and shareholder disputes. In 2012 he handled the leading case of OE Wood & ORS v Hudson Industrial Services Ltd (2012) EWCA CIV 599 where the Court of Appeal considered whether extrinsic evidence could be admissible in the construction of a Deed. It broke new ground and set a precedent in the approach taken by the Courts in the construction of Deeds relating to land.
