Lucy Ellis

Lucy is a solicitor in the Litigation Team at Martin Kaye Solicitors.

Lucy received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Birmingham and immediately joined a Shrewsbury-based law firm as a full-time paralegal upon graduation. During this period, she simultaneously completed her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law degree in her spare time, and was subsequently given a training contract with the firm. This led to her successful qualification as a solicitor in July 2024, upon which Lucy expanded her experience to a law firm based across Telford, Stafford, Birmingham and Shrewsbury.

In joining Martin Kaye Solicitors, Lucy brings with her experience in a multitude of areas, particularly within the commercial and civil litigation sector, including matters such as:

  • Shareholder disputes – in particular acting for minority shareholders who may have been unfairly removed from a company;
  • Breach of contract matters – acting for both claimants and defendants;
  • Vehicle-related claims; and
  • Debt Disputes.

Approaching matters thoughtfully, based on the individual circumstances, Lucy endeavours to ensure that – whether by amicable settlement or all the way through to potential hearings – all matters are suitably resolved for her clients.
